What if you could face every obstacle with greater ease and finally build the momentum it takes to reach higher ground?
We all reach that point in life or business where we no longer feel like we’re building momentum or creating what we want.
It’s a point where you might suddenly feel overwhelmed, unmotivated, doubtful, scared, questioning, worried about money or plain old stuck.
I call this place the Plateau.
Typically, you reach the plateau after you’ve had a taste of success, but the way you’ve reached no longer feels sustainable.
And worse yet, your plateau is now beginning to feel like a downward slide.
Your first inclination is to seek higher ground, a place where you don’t always feel like you’re drowning or simply treading water.
But is that really your first move?
The Plateau is a Place for Growth, Before You Head for Higher Ground.
How much further could you grow (go) if you knew that you didn’t have to panic or go into “doing” mode every time you got uncomfortable?
If you knew that you’ve actually reached the plateau so you can learn something and truly prepare in a way that will propel you faster and further toward the freedom you desire?
That's the gift of the plateau.
Like all things simple, settling into the plateau isn’t easy.
You get stuck in your head trash, uncomfortable with stagnation and even worry about what worse things might lie ahead.
This is where Higher Ground: The Roundtable, comes in.
Let's Reach Higher Ground . . .The Roundtable
Instead of rushing to take your next step, Higher Ground engages you in the conversations you’re ready to have so you can rest and refuel on the plateau. The conversations that will lead you to see a more intentional higher ground and right action instead of doing.
And because I know the benefit of bringing together other expert voices and perspectives to the conversation, I’m enlisting friends/colleagues/mentors to help.
Higher ground is a roundtable discussion that includes incredible people from different backgrounds who have all found the gifts of the plateau and can help you to embrace where you are - if you’re ready.
It’s a place where you can get the lessons you need to learn, without incurring all the lumps.
And the best part - it’s at no cost to you (for now).
Higher Ground is about listening, networking, building new relationships and finding mentors you might never have been exposed to before!
Join the discussion on June 26th at 9:30 am PT/12:30 pm ET/4:30pm GMT!
JULY TOPIC: Failing Your Way to Success (how to better embrace failure as a way to truly succeed).
July's Higher Ground Panel
Failing Your Way to Success
Host Linda Perry, Mindset Coach & Biz Strategist
I didn't always know it was ok to fail. In fact, I often talk about the fact that my husband - on our third date - told me I hadn't failed enough. Like so many of us, failure meant opening myself up to ridicule, limiting beliefs I had about myself and pain - so I avoided it at all costs. I even ended up in a field where failure had dire consequences (my clients went to jail). But the truth is that once I started to really embrace failure, I could learn how to use my failures and even look forward to them as a way to reaching success.
Since that time, I have failed gloriously and have coached hundreds of individuals how to embrace failure on the climb to success. I'm a shadow coach, business strategist, Enneagram and Why.os Certified Expert. I work with individuals, businesses and agencies to help them see how to embrace these failures and overcome past mistakes.

How Higher Ground: The Roundtable Works
Higher Ground: The Roundtable meets between 6-10 times in 2023 for 90 minutes each session. I will introduce the topic and share some of my initial thoughts and tools on the topic and then I will open it up to the panel to share insights. I will remain the moderator and the Roundtable will always remain conversational.
Each roundtable takes place via Zoom and will be open to only those who have registered (although once you register for the first one, you will get information for each subsequent Higher Ground session). You will have the opportunity to share in the chat, ask questions and get insights from the panel. You will also be put into break-out rooms at the end so you can network and talk to others about next steps!
Unlike other Zoom sessions, I do ask that you come prepared to be seen with cameras on! The panelists love interacting with you - as an integral part of the higher ground experience.
Higher ground will NOT be recorded.
I want to respect the privacy of individuals who show up and share - I want this to be a safe space for all. And while I understand that you might not be able to make each session, this is a choice I’ve made to protect you and anything you might share during the session.
Higher Ground shall also remain free for the time being. I say that because I expect Higher Ground will be life changing, I want to be able to support the panelists and provide them with an opportunity to be paid for their participation. Until then, Higher Ground will remain a no-hard-pitch zone, but I am affording each panelist the opportunity to share a way for you to stay in touch or work with them - which does include me.
So, if all this resonates with you . . . I encourage you to register and show up and seek Higher Ground in a more intentional and fulfilling way!
FAQs
When does Higher Ground meet?
The next Higher Ground: The Roundtable shall meet on July 26th at 9:30 am PT/ 12:30 pm ET and 4:30 pm GMT. The topic shall be Failing Your Way to Success. Please plan on spending 90 minutes together!
Where does Higher Ground Meet?
We meet via Zoom. Please come prepared to be visible! While I get that sometimes you can’t, this will be a typical Zoom room meeting (NOT webinar format) so that you get an opportunity to connect with others, meet the panelists and share some of your own experiences.
I also plan on hosting a Higher Ground Retreat in Portugal sometime within this next year.
What topics will you cover this year?
Here are some of the topics we are likely to cover this year in Higher Ground.
I will be adding topics as we progress throughout the year.
Will you record the Higher Ground sessions?
No, I’ve made a decision to NOT record Higher Ground in order to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of all participants. This is a choice to respect those who show up and encourage full participation. I know that means you may not be able to join each one, but it does give you an opportunity to show up fully when you do without concern about what might be recorded or shared.
How much does Higher Ground Cost?
Right now . . . nothing. I’m introducing Higher Ground as an opportunity for us to gather and discuss the problems so many of us face when it comes to growing and really living a next level life - whether that’s in life or in business. As this grows, I may be offering a membership and plan on hosting a Higher Ground retreat in Portugal in the next year.
How do I become a panelist?
If you think that you (or someone you know) would be a great fit to talk about what it means to overcome the obstacles of the plateau and reach for Higher Ground intentionally, I’d love to hear from you.
We do support diversity and inclusion and seek to have voices from different backgrounds of all kinds.
If you’re interested in joining me, please complete the Higher Ground application here.
